Delivering for Nature, Together

National Parks and National Landscapes Forum

Be a part of the journey

In January 2026, senior leaders from business, finance, government and the environmental sector came together at the Delivering for Nature, Together Forum with a clear message: nature recovery is no longer a ‘nice to have’ — it is fundamental to business resilience, supply chains and long-term value.

The Forum, convened by National Parks Partnerships in collaboration with the National Landscapes Association, showcased how protected landscapes — covering around 25% of England’s land area — can work in partnership with business to deliver large-scale nature recovery, climate resilience and social value across England.

With long-term stewardship, trusted governance and the ability to aggregate projects at scale, National Parks and National Landscapes are uniquely placed to help businesses turn ambition into measurable outcomes for nature, climate and people.

“Our National Parks and National Landscapes are the living proof that investment in nature delivers tangible returns for all of us. These places are crucial assets: they underpin our national infrastructure. Investment in them benefits communities, businesses, and the planet. Our future prosperity depends on them.“
Mary Creagh MP
Minister for Culture, Defra

2026 Highlights

  • Confidence in collective action rose sharply during the day: more than 80% of participants said they were confident we can act together for nature by the end of the Forum, compared with fewer than 20% who felt confident meeting net zero targets alone at the start.

  • Real-world partnerships demonstrated how protected landscapes are already delivering for business resilience, supply chains and social value.

  • Discussions focused on the role of nature in managing business risk, the growing relevance of insurance and climate resilience, and the importance of social value — including jobs, skills and wellbeing — in strengthening the business case for investment in nature.
